Selection Terms for Independent Route :

1. Independent Route registrants originated from participants of UTBK - SBMPTN year 2022
2. Applicants who did not choose a study program at UPN Veterans Jakarta at the 2022 SBMPTN can take part in the 2022 UPNVJ Independent Route.
3. Applicants can choose the same or different study programs from the ones they chose in the 2022 SBMPTN with the following conditions:
   1. Registrants who take part in the 2022 SBMPTN in the Science&Technology (Saintek) exam group can only choose Science&Technology study programs (Mechanical Engineering, Naval Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Informatics, Information System, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, and Nutrition)
   2. Registrants who take part in the 2022 SBMPTN in the Social&Humanities (Soshum) exam group can only choose kelompok Social&Humanities study programs (Management, Accounting, International Relations, Communication Studies, Laws, Economics of Development, Islamic Economy, Information Science, Political Science)
   3. Registrants who take part in the 2022 SBMPTN in the Mixed exam group can choose all study programs.
4. Applicants can only choose 2 (two) study programs.
5. The registration fee for UPNVJ Independent Route is Rp275.000,- (two hundred and seventy five thousand rupiah). Payments can be made at BNI via Tellers, ATMs and Internet Banking. The registration fee that has been paid is non-refundable. Payment instructions can be found at https://penmaru.upnvj.ac.id/payment-procedures

Information regarding the scope, criteria and mechanism of the achievement track for new students admission for the 2022 Independent Route at the Jakarta Veterans National Development University (SEMA UPNVJ) is as follows :

1. The achievement track is a selection process that uses a combination of passing criteria for academic track with academic/non-academic achievements.
2. The scope of achievement in SEMA S-1 UPNVJ includes achievement in Science Olympics, achievement in sports and/or arts ranked 1st/2nd/3rd Provincial, National, and International level within the last 3 years, Hafiz  Al-Quran at least 20 Juz, Student Council President at least for a year, Youtube Content Creator with at least 10.000 subscribers.
3. This achievement track gets a quota of 10% from the independent route. Field of Science Olympics 2%, Sports and Arts 2%, Hafiz Al Quran 2%, Student Council President 2%, and Youtube Content Creator 2%.
4. This achievement track applies to all study programs except for the Medical study program and the Pharmacy study program.
5. The scope, criteria and selection mechanism for each of these fields are as follows :
   1. Science Olympics :
      • Prospective participants who can follow this path are those who have science olympiad achievements in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Informatics/Computer, Biology, Astronomy, Economy, Earth Science, and Geography be it an individual achievement or group achievement.
      • The achievement criteria obtained by the participants are the champions ranked 1 – 3 at the provincial level, national, and international in the last 3 years.
      • At the time of registration, prospective participants must upload original/colored evidence of achievement in the form of a certificate/verification letter/diploma which will then be validated by the selection team. 
   2. Sports :
      • Prospective participants who can join this path are those who have individual/one-person sports achievements such as chess, badminton, martial arts, gymnastics, swimming, athletics and others. 
      • The achievement criteria obtained by the participants are the champions ranked 1 – 3 at the provincial level, national, and international in the last 3 years. 
      • At the time of registration, prospective participants must upload original/colored evidence of achievement in the form of a certificate/verification letter/diploma which will then be validated by the selection team.
   3. Arts :
      • Prospective participants who can join this path are those who have individual art achievement such as dance competitions, singing competitions, painting/drawing competitions, and others. 
      • The achievement criteria obtained by the participants are the champions ranked 1 – 3 at the provincial level, national, and international in the last 3 years.
      • At the time of registration, prospective participants must upload original/colored evidence of achievement in the form of a certificate/verification letter/diploma which will then be validated by the selection team.  
   4. Hafiz Al Quran :
      • Prospective participants who can join this path are those who are able to memorize Al Quran at least 20 Juz, supported by photocopy of certificate/diploma or certificate from the boarding school, islamic school or Quran tahfiz board.
      • At the time of registration, prospective participants must upload original/colored evidence of achievement in the form of a certificate/verification letter/diploma from the boarding school, islamic school or Quran tahfiz board which will then be validated by the selection team.
      • For those who meet these criteria, it is obligatory to take a re-test for memorizing the Quran.
   5. Student Council President :
      • Prospective participants who can join this path are those who were the Student Council President (NOT Vice President/Division Head/Coordinator) for one year.
      • The criteria for the Student Council President will be seen from the accreditation of prospective participating schools.
      • At the time of registration, prospective participants must upload original/colored evidence of school accreditation and Principal Letter stating that participants are students in their school and have been the Student Council President for one year which will then be validated by the selection team. 
   6. Youtube Content Creator :
      • Prospective participants who can join this path are those who have subscribers (real, not bot) at least 10.000 subscribers.
      • Have at least two videos with a minimum of 100,000 viewers each with contents that are useful, educational, creative, inspiring, original, interesting and meet editing standards and good image quality.
      • At the time of registration, prospective participants must upload screenshot of their Youtube channel profile and provide the link to their youtube channel which will then be validated by the selection team. 
      • For those who meet these criteria, it is obligatory to take a skill test in the form of making videos with a duration of 3-5 minutes with a theme determined by the committee using their respective equipment.
6. The time and place for the Youtube Content Creator skill test and the re-test for memorizing the Quran for prospective students who are declared eligible will be announced on Wednesday, June 29 2022 and then required to take a skill test and memorization retest which will be carried out on Saturday, July 2 2022. For Youtube Content Creator skill test will take place in Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Building, 4th Floor, Rectorate Building, Pondok Labu Campus UPN Veteran Jakarta, while the re-test for memorizing the Quran will take place in Masjid Mambaul Ullum UPN Veteran Jakarta, Kampus Pondok Labu.

Registration schedule for the independent route will start on Tuesday, June 14 2022 at 11.00 WIB – Monday, June 27 2022 at 23.59 WIB, via online through the official website for UPN Veteran Jakarta Bachelor Program registration : https://pendaftaran.upnvj.ac.id/s1.html

1. Registrants enter full name, place of birth, date of birth, UTBK - SBMPTN participant number, NISN, NPSN, HP number, and email address to receive Form Number and Personal Identification Number (PIN). Make sure to use an active email.
2. Registrants will be asked to confirm data, once everything deemed in order, continue to the next step by clicking the Save button. If the data doesn't match, the registrant is asked to re-check their UTBK – SBMPTN registration data .
3. Registrants will be given Form Number and PIN, in addition to being sent via email, registrants are recommended to take note and save the Form Number and PIN in other medium.
4. Registrants make payments via BNI to activate their PIN. Payment instructions can be found at https://penmaru.upnvj.ac.id/en/payment-procedures
5. After making the payment, the Form Number and PIN can be used to login and continue with the following steps :

1. Upload a passport photo
2. Fill in personal data (Biodata and parent/guardian data)
3. Fill in school origin data
4. Select study programs for option 1 and 2
5. Select the admission track (Academic or Achievement)
6. Upload required documents (for Achievement track)
7. Fill in the capability to pay Institutional Development Donations (SPI)
8. Print out, fill out and upload promissory to pay Institutional Development Donations (SPI) and tuition fee (UKT)
9. Check the data that has been filled in, if everything is in accord click Finalize. Once you click Finalize then the data will be locked, and it cannot be edited. Make sure your data is correct.
10. Print out the Participant Card

Payment Terms of Tuition Fees (UKT) and Institutional Development Donations (SPI) for Independent Route UPNVJ:

1. For prospective students who are declared to have passed the Independent Route for UPNVJ Bachelor Program, they are required to make payments according to a predetermined schedule, namely Tuesday, July 12 2022 at 15.00 WIB – Saturday, July 16 2022 at 15.00 WIB.
2. For prospective students Independent Route for UPNVJ Bachelor Program who do not make payments according to a predetermined schedule, they are declared to have resigned. 

Quota Capacity of Independent Route for UPNVJ Bachelor Program

If the Independent Route for UPNVJ Bachelor Program Quota is not fulfilled due to a prospective student who resigns then it is filled in by a prospective student who is declared to have passed the Reserve.

Announcement of the results of the Independent Route for UPNVJ Bachelor Program will be on Tuesday, July 12 2022 Pukul 15.00 WIB. It will be announced through the UPN Veteran Jakarta New Student Admission Registration website at https://pengumuman.upnvj.ac.id/ by logging in first using the Form Number and PIN.

For KIP-K participants who pass the Independent Route for UPNVJ Bachelor Program, economic data verification will be carried out through documents (interview via telephone) and/or a visit to the participant's residence address and the determination of the KIP-K recipient will be announced on Friday, July 15 2022 at 15.00 WIB. For those who are not designated as KIP-K recipients, payment of Tuition Fee (UKT) and Institutional Development Donations (SPI) on Friday, July 15 2022 at 15.00 WIB - Saturday, July 16 2022 at 15.00 WIB.

For prospective new students who have made UKT and SPI payments or the designated KIP-K recipients can immediately re-register online starting from Tuesday, July 12 2022 Pukul 15.00 WIB - Saturday, July 16 2022 at 15.00 WIB via the official website regmaba.upnvj.ac.id by logging in first using the participant number and date of birth.
