Requirements
- Must be 21 (twenty-one) years of age or younger at the time of registration at UPN “Veteran” Jakarta.
- Graduated from the previous level of education (as evidenced by a Diploma and Academic Transcript translated into English and/or Indonesian by a sworn translator).
- English language proficiency of TOEFL ITP of 470 (four hundred and seventy), or TOEFL iBT of 53 (fifty-three), or IELTS of 5 (five), which is still valid at the time of registration. Participants from English-speaking countries are not required to submit English language proficiency documents.
- An academic recommendation letter written in English or Indonesian from their previous school.
- Proof of nationality by submitting a scan of participant's official passport for at least 1 (one) year at the time of registration.
- Health certificate of physical and mental condition from a public hospital (color blindness test, drug-free test, and mental health test).
- A letter of statement confirming their financial capability.
- Graduated from an undergraduate program (as evidenced by a Diploma and Academic Transcript translated into English and/or Indonesian by a sworn translator).
- English language proficiency of TOEFL ITP of 500 (five hundred), TOEFL iBT of 61 (sixty-one), or IELTS of 5.5 (five point five), which is still valid at the time of registration. Participants from English-speaking countries are not required to submit English language proficiency documents.

Study Permit Processing

When the prospective international students meet the administrative and academic requirements, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, through the Office of International Affairs (KUI), will issue a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) as official proof of admission.

The Office of International Affairs of UPN ”Veteran” Jakarta prepares the necessary documents and submits a study permit application to the Directorate of Institutions under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology through the website of Layanan Izin Belajar Mahasiswa Asing.

The Office of International Affairs of UPN ”Veteran” Jakarta receives the study permit and forwards it to the student.

The Office of International Affairs of UPN ”Veteran” Jakarta periodically monitors, evaluates, and provides counseling for international students.
Insurance
UPN "Veteran" Jakarta requires international students to obtain health insurance valid in Indonesia at their own expense. The insurance coverage must include inpatient care, outpatient services, medication, and medical evacuation if necessary. Students are free to select their preferred insurance provider. However, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta may offer recommendations based on several factors such as benefits, coverage, hospital networks, and premium costs. International students are expected to independently arrange their health insurance, ensuring flexibility, accountability, and freedom in their choice.

Evaluation for Scholarship Awardees

The awardees report their semester study progress to the Faculty and University, with a copy sent to the Study Program.

The faculty evaluates the awardee's study progress and reports it to the University for consideration in continuing funding in the following semester.

The awardees obtain at least a 3.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) on a 4.0 scale in the reporting semester.

Faculties must coordinate with the Study Programs to analyze the awardees’ situation if they are inclined to delay or postpone their study, and to help them find a solution.

If the delay is unavoidable, the awardees should solely bear all the education expenses
