Public Relations UPNVJ - In the context of implementing the Computer Based Writing Examination (UTBK) UPN "Veteran" Jakarta held a cooperation agreement signing activity with Partner Schools within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. The activity took place in the Nusantara 1 Room, UPNVJ Rectorate Building, on Monday (11/02/19).

In this case, UPNVJ Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs Anter Venus said, " This is an effort to make the nation's life more intelligent. As we know, the government wants to ensure that everyone's educational rights can be fulfilled by continuing to improve the education system. The principle by which we carry out education today is education that is quality, fair, transparent, accessible and accountable. The improvements we want to make now are regarding the recruitment of new students. The government implements the UTBK system. With this system, we need adequate computer facilities. UPNVJ is currently able to fulfill 60% of the UTBK facilities this year and it is mandatory for PTN to implement partners for one of them to fulfill the UTBK implementation facilities. "Mapping has been carried out with the number of facilities available at UPNVJ amounting to 560 computers. With this school partnership, the number of facilities has increased by 495 computers so that the total number of computer facilities available is 1,055 computers," he said in front of the Principal and school representatives.

Arum Sari, Principal of SMKN 41 Jakarta, representing other schools, expressed his pleasure at being able to collaborate with UPNVJ and hoped that students from SMKN 41 Jakarta could qualify to become UPNVJ students this year.

"From myself, I am very happy with this partnership and collaboration. I hope that our children can take the test and pass the UPNVJ, even though their vocational school graduation is intended to go straight to work, but what we know is that the government wants to improve the quality and priority of education and SMKN 41 Jakarta "This is the technology that we excel at, so hopefully someone can graduate as a student at UPNVJ this year and next year, " he said.

The event continued with questions and answers regarding technical matters directed directly by the Head of UPNVJ Information and Communication Technology UPT Ridwan Raafi'udin. In this case, he conveyed the general mechanism that would be implemented in the implementation of UTBK in 2019. Not only that, school representatives and school principals also conveyed the obstacles faced so that they could have solutions for the success and smooth implementation of UTBK later.
