Objective
The objectives of SNMPTN are:
- Give opportunity to the students of SHS/ISHS/VS local or abroad (Sekolah Republik Indonesia/SRI) who have superior achievements to pursue higher education in state universities (PTN) including Open University (as a pilot project).
- Give opportunity to state universities to get prospective students who have high academic performance.
General Terms and Conditions
- SNMPTN is carried out based on the results of tracking academic achievements using report cards and academic portfolios. The report cards used are from semester one to semester five for SHS/ISHS with a study period of three years or semester one to semester seven for VS with a study period of four years.
- Schools whose students are participating in SNMPTN must have National School Number (NPSN) and fill in student achievement data in PDSS thoroughly and correctly.
- Students who are eligible to take part in the selection are students who have National Student Identification Number (NISN), have superior achievement, and track records of academic achievements in PDSS.
- Students who will apply for SNMPTN must read the information on their chosen state universities about the terms and conditions regarding new student admission in that university.
Specific Terms and Conditions
School Requirements
Schools whose students are eligible to take part in the SNMPTN are:
- SHS/ISHS that have National School Number (NPSN).
- Accreditation Terms:
- A Accreditation: within the best 40 % in school
- B Accreditation: within the best 25 % in school
- C Accreditation and others: within the best 5% in school
- Filling out School and Student Database (PDSS). Only student data that is filled in is eligible in accordance with the terms and conditions.
Participant Requirements
Last grade SHS/ISHS/VS students (grade 12) in 2022 who have excellent achievements:
- Have academic achievement and meet the requirements determined by each state university
- Have NISN and are listed in PDSS
- Have a report card semester 1 to 5 that have been filled in PDSS
- Participants who choose the arts and sports study program are required to upload a Portfolio.
Admission in State University
Student applicants are accepted at State University, if:
- graduated from SHS/ISHS/VS;
- have an active account at LTMPT;
- declared to have passed SNMPTN 2022;
- pass data verification and meet other requirements determined by each recipient PTN.
How to Participate in SNMPTN
The steps for participating in SNMPTN are as follows:
Create LTMPT Account
- Prospective participants, be it for SNMPTN or UTBK-SBMPTN must register or create an account in LTMPT via https://portal.ltmpt.ac.id.
Fill In PDSS Data
- Schools check NPSN on the PDSS page.
- Schools must ensure that the NPSN along with data about the school is correct and verified on PDSPK Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud).
- The Principal or someone assigned by the Principal has to fill in the entire data of grade 12 students in PDSS via https://portal.ltmpt.ac.id.
Conditions for Ranking Students by School
- The student ranking is carried out by the school which basically takes into account the following subjects' scores:
- Science: Math, Indonesian Language, English Language, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
- Social Study: Math, Indonesian Language, English Language, Sociology, Economy, and Geography.
- Language: Math, Indonesian Language, English Language, Indonesian Literature, Anthropology, and one Foreign Language.
- Vocational School: Math, Indonesian Language, English Language, and Skill Competence.
- Schools can add other criteria in the form of academic achievement in determining student rankings if there are the same scores.
- The number of students who are included in the ranking according to the provisions of the school's accreditation quota.
SNMPTN Registration
- Student applicants who meet the ranking criteria by their school, have to login LTMPT page https://portal.ltmpt.ac.id using their email and password to register for SNMPTN.
- Student applicants have to fill in their profile, chosen state university, and chosen study programs, as well as upload their latest formal photo and additional achivement documents (if there is any). Student applicants must read and understand all the terms that apply to the selected state university.
- Student applicants who are enrolled in the arts and sports study program are required to upload a portfolio and documents that can be proof of skills that has been approved by the Principal using downloadable guidelines from https://portal.ltmpt.ac.id.
- Student applicants have to print out their Proof of Registration Card (Kartu Bukti Pendaftaran) as proof of SNMPTN participant.

Terms in Choosing State Universities and Study Programs
- Every student can choose up to two study programs from one state university or two different state universities.
- If student chooses two study programs, one of them has to be in a state university in the same province as their origin school. If student chooses one study program, they can choose state university in any province.
- It is recommended not to cross interests (depending on the terms of the chosen PTN)
- The list of study programs and the capacity of the 2022 SNMPTN can be seen on the page https://www.ltmpt.ac.id during the registration period.
SNMPTN Cost
Student registration is free of charge. The cost of administering SNMPTN is fully borne by the Government.

Principles and Selection Stages
Principles of Selection
Selection is based on the following principles:
- get prospective students who are academically qualified by using report cards and other achievements that are relevant to the chosen study program;
- take into account the track record of school performance; and
- using national selection criteria and criteria set by each state university in a fair, accountable and transparent manner.
Selection Stages
Selection is carried out in the following stages:
- Applicants are selected at the first choice state university based on the order of choice of the study program.
- For students who choose study programs in two state universities: if they didn't pass at their first choice state university, that student will be included in the selection at their second choice state university based on the capacity.
Sanctions for Schools and/or Students
Strict sanctions for schools and/or students/prospective students who commit fraud are as follows:
- Schools that are proven to have cheated will not be included in the SNMPTN the following year.
- Students who are declared to have passed the SNMPTN and proven to have cheated will have their 'passed' status canceled.

KIP-K Scholarship
A. Recipient Requirements for KIP-K Scholarship
- Students of senior high school, vocational school or its equivalent who will graduate in the current year or have graduated 2 (two) years before;
- Have good academic potential but have economic limitations supported by valid documentary evidence;
- Passed the selection exam, and got accepted by State University or Public University in a Study Program with A or B Accreditation, and possibly C Accreditation, but only after certain considerations.
- Economic Limitations are supported by the ownership of the national education assistance program in the form of Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) or by belonging to a family that joined Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH), a family that owns Kartu Keluarga Sejahtera (KKS) or if the student came from an orphanage.
- For students who don't have KIP or their parents/guardians don't have KKS, they can still register to get KIP Kuliah as long as they fulfill the requirement of being economically disadvantaged, that can be supported by:
- Combined gross income of parents/guardians is Rp 4.000.000,00 (four million rupiah); or
- The combined gross income of parents/guardians divided by the number of family members at most Rp750.000,00 (seven hundred and fifty thousand rupiah). The final decision will be made by the respective college.
B. KIP Kuliah Benefits
- Exemption of registration fees for college entrance selection (Computer-Based Writing Examination/UTBK along with other exams) proposed by each committee and college for students listed in Data Terpadu Kesejahteraan Sosial (DTKS) Ministry of Social (Kemensos);
- Exemption of tuition fee which will be paid directly to the college;
- Living expenses assistance of Rp. 700.000,00 (seven hundred thousand rupiah) per month.

- Diploma Four max. 8 (eight) semesters;
- Diploma Three max. 6 (six) semesters;

- Dentist max. 4 (four) semester;
- Vet max. 4 (four) semester;
- Nurse max. 2 (two) semester;
- Apothecary max. 2 (two) semester;
- Teacher max. 2 (two) semester.
D. KIP-K Registration
The procedures for registering KI-K for all admission routes (SNMPTN, SBMPTN, SNMPN, SBMPN and Mandiri) are done online via KIP-K pages such as:
- Via official website at http://kip-kuliah.kemdikbud.go.id/
- Via mobile application by downloading and installing KIP-K mobile apps that is android-based in Play Store.
E. KIP-K Registration Procedures
Registration Procedures KIP-K:
- Students can directly register independently in the online system of KIP-K via the official page at https://kip-kuliah.kemdikbud.go.id/ or via KIP-K mobile apps that can be downloaded through Play Store;
- During registration, students will need to enter their ID Number (NIK), National Student Identification Number (Nomor Induk Siswa Nasional), National School Number (Nomor Pokok Sekolah Nasional) and an active email address;
- KIP-K System will then verify the student's NIK, NISN and NPSN as well as their eligibility to get KIP Kuliah;
- If the verification process is successful, next KIP-K System will send Registration Number and Access Code to the registered email address;
- Student finishes the registration process and chooses the selection process they will go through (SNMPTN/SBMPTN/SNMPN/SBMPN/Mandiri);
- Student finishes the registration process in web portal or information system based on the selection process chosen;
- For prospective KIP-K recipients who have been declared accepted at their chosen University, there will be further verification by the University before being proposed as a prospective student to receive the KIP-K.
